Hi there,
I was wondering how many people have been bullied? I know all my life I have been bullied by kids and adults. |

Being bullied just became an insight for me.
Fighting back, being strong and aggressive are one of the most important things to live a guilt and depression free life. |

There are a lot of bullies around. Yes, I’ve been bullied.
I suggest educating yourself, some may fit a certain diagnosis imo, if they are adults.. Keep posting, many of us here have been bullied in childhood and even beyond. It isn’t a sign of “weakness”... some bullies target people who are full of positive energy, kindness and light ... I’ve found bullies want to manipulate people and drag them down. Sometimes their games and manipulations are complicated and cruel. The more aware people are of the tactics bullies use, the less “successful” bullies will be at what they try to do. __________________ |

I was bullied in school and later on at a place of employment. It changes a person. My heart goes out to all that have been bullied.

@TheLonelyChemist
(((((((((honeybunny))))))))) I did a search on Psych Central and found these: Here: Aggressive or Assertive? How to Be Yourself Without Pushing People Away Effective vs. Ineffective Communication | Mental Health Awareness This is the page that resulted in my assertive vs aggressive: Effective vs. Ineffective Communication | Mental Health Awareness I didn't know about assertiveness until I was in therapy. Being assertive really helped me get my point across without being angry. Plus, it helps me stay on track and not get derailed by angry people. Does that make sense? __________________ "Love you. My family bullied me, which taught me to bully others. Now, I work to reach others like me, hoping my story will help them somehow decide to get the help they need to get better.

I was teased from kindergarten to about grade 7, not so much in grade 8 (although in the hall one day one girl punched me for an unknown reason, the only time I was ever physically assaulted in school). I was extremely sensitive and prone to burst into tears with very little provocation.
The teasing vanished completely when my family moved to a different area and I had to change schools -- I had a fresh start, and had finally gotten a bit of control over my sensitivity, so from that point onward there were no bullying problems. |

But it's a fact. Aggression is the current way of the world. Thank you for sharing the valuable information. |

Bullying from kids at school and supposed friends was one of the most damaging parts of my past.
