I want it - but somehow I don't think my husband is going to let me get it. We'll see, but he's doing the thing "we don't have the money and everytime you budget, something happens" .. Somehow, I think the "something" that happens is he spends money without telling me. I know part of it too is he convinces me to buy things we don't really need (by driving me nuts with begging or telling me how mean I am or that he wouldn't do that to me, etc). And yes, part of it is me (but even he admits most of it is him spending foolishly). Then, like everyone else, we do have odds n ends that come up but not so much I cannot afford at least 1 appt this month (need to catch up 2 doc copays this month too). So .. it really bothers me.

I seriously need counseling. I believe he knows that. He saw me crying a few days ago.

I don't know what to do?

Counseling is a medical appointment like any other.
Would it not fit in the budget if you had pneumonia? Cancer? Mental health conditions are equal to physical health conditions. You have a right to health care.
All the best to you.

Honestly, sometimes medical things get pushed off too - unless they present as urgent.
