I see quite frequently that depression tests invariably ask if you feel like a burden to others. I never do. But I still feel depressed. It's more like life is a burden to me and that's what brings me down. Does anyone else feel the same? Thanks.

I feel like the depression comes for me because other people are a burden to me than I'm being a burden to someone else. I am extremely independent and very happy to work alone. I rarely ask for help from anyone. When I ask for help, it happens at work, but not that much. I hate having to ask for help.
There are times when I feel like people ask me for help. I like to help others but there are times when I hate being asked for favors. |

Thanks FuzzyBear for the dancing bear!
will19 - I know what you mean about being asked for favors. Sometimes I don't mind, sometimes it really bothers me. I am a computer programmer and I prefer that people don't know that because I get asked to help and many times it's more complicated to help. |
