Do you feel that when you’re kind and respectful to others, you’re making this world a kinder place, putting something positive out there? I do

And sometimes that might involve giving someone the “benefit of the doubt” - I’ve never thought that someone having a “bad day” and not being 100 percent “polite” (on one or two days) makes them a “bad Person”....

Although I do try to be polite and respectful to others, I also try to suspend judgment ..... not always easy.

How can I become a “better person”

Do positive affirmations help you?

Do kind words help you?

Do you think that everyone deserves respect?

Sorry so many questions.....

Hugs and respect to all

Thank you Fuzzy for this thread.

I believe I am kind and respectful to others. I have more trouble being kind to myself perhaps.

Everyone deserves respect.

Kind words and affirmations are helpful when I am ready to receive them. If I am deeply traumatised then I find it hard to believe them.

I hope you had a lovely sleep in your cave.

Many hugs and much respect to all

I believe in trying to be kind and respectful to others whether or not it makes the world a kinder place.

As for becoming a "better person," too many answers to that question already contend for my attention. I don't know if I'll become a better person, but I'm sure I'll continue getting older.

Positive affirmations have never helped me.

Kind words
directed to me and
directed from me to others
help, but the help is fleeting.

I'm not sure everyone deserves respect, but I believe it valuable to treat everyone with respect.

Hugs and Respect to you, dear Fuzzybear.

Yes everybody deserves a kind word, everyone deserves dignity, a reason to hope for a brighter tomorrow.
