On my really bad days, I allow myself to just be upset. I allow myself to vent about normal daily stuff (that normally wouldn't get me there), I allow myself to get angry (but not take it out on people), I allow myself decent "alone time" complimented by decent time with my gf (just hanging, usually conversing over something anywhere from existential to "how that blue makes that painting better"). Ultimately, I allow myself to be myself but on a leash. I will not overstimulate or overwork myself anymore because it makes me that much more overwhelmed. Today isn't a terrible day, but it's not great, so I've just been educating myself on various subjects and ideas.

Fuzzy, when I am really in serious distress I seek comfort. Sometimes I climb into bed and pull the covers over me and just lie there. But I want things around me that comfort me, like pillows. Or stuffed bears. (I have a stuffed opossum). Though I can't really read at those times I like to try to find books with beautiful pictures. Gardens, or fashion magazines. Art books. Something creative that will calm and inspire me without too much effort from me.

I’m wishing for better days (sounds “empty” feels “empty” He (the professional) said I was “empty” ? Thanks to that person for the “insight” ? Feeling vs being, rather elementary .... should have been taught at primary school age? I guess some were not present. :-( Sorry if this is triggering, it’s not to you or anyone here. Maybe I “should” ..... again .... find a new, harsher Muzzle I really don’t know what triggers people sometimes especially if they don’t tell me. Really how could anyone know. Or maybe some who haven’t endured abuse and neglect learn this naturally in childhood? I have no clue, I do not like days like this Much love to you, your inner cub and snake May all inner snakes find enlightenment and love ... probably too much to ask Love and respect to all __________________ |

PS sorry about the negative rant. I was thinking when I woke up this morning I would try to only post positive things. And only say positive things ... and and and ......
At least I don’t say mean things to others. That is something. And I had to learn that with no help from “family” since they ......... nvm. __________________ |

I find it most helpful to get out of the house, get a drink. Sometimes I drive around and taknew Jersey, and e photos of Phoenix for my bipolar pen pal in Wales. I have pen pals in Ontario, New Jersey, and Wales. They are all very encouraging. Hugs!

Thank you for always being so kind and respectful. I also value your wisdom and insight. It isn’t easy to be so consistently kind, empathic and thoughtful to all in any mixed environment when in so much pain. It isn’t easy to tolerate the injustice in the world... But it’s a worthy goal, to be respectful to All, As Is. Much love, peace and respect to you dear friend __________________ |
