Although medicine was my most recent regret, I am beginning to regret not studying my first passion - Programming.
It was six years ago last time I did something major in programming. I won't tell what it was to protect my identity, but it was pretty badass for an eight grader. However, just a year after my health rapidly declined, and I became psychotic. I dropped my CS passion and things just went downhill from the point for my career. So long story short, I cannot get a job as a programmer now. I really wish I could but I cannot go back to school either. How do I get over not studying CS? It was my first passion and I was a very talented kid back then. |

Can you do Leetcode competitions and build up a github portfolio of personal projects?

My son is a CS graduate. His leetcode results helped him get his second job. Some companies do look at those results and it can help you sharpen your interview skills plus gets something to put on your resume. You will need to fill out a resume with personal projects. It is better to start small.

What about going to school in the country you live in?
Get online degree? Move to US? Self-teach yourself? Get entry level position in the field and learn on the job? |

I understand what you mean, Stephen Strange!
 Just try to remind yourself that sometimes in life we just have to make some tough choices! Are you happy with your current studies or do you wish to change? Either way sometimes we HAVE to make a choice! I understand it's hard though!  Just keep trying your best and keep moving forward! That's ALL we humans can do after all and it's ALWAYS more than enough! The Past is Past and unfortunately we can't change it but we CAN change our future! I'd suggest to focus on that AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN! I COMPLETELY understand what you mean though! Stay strong! TAKE GREAT CARE OF YOURSELF, OK?  WE ALL CARE ABOUT YOU! THAT'S A PROMISE! Not sure about countries other than the US, but are there any online coding programs you could try? Whether C/C++/C#/Java or HTML/CSS/Javascript, etc. Also, could try the self-taught route
