Let me start off by saying if suicide triggers you then please move on. I won't be talking specifics but it will be discussed rather bluntly.

A little note about me. I have been referred to as a loner before. I don't have many friends because it is tough for me to make friends.

I have been thinking about my best friend from years ago as of late. Several years ago now he committed suicide. I remember that night well. It was the Saturday after thanksgiving and was a rainy night. My wife got a call from her best friend that she thought her husband, my best friend, was dead. We dropped everything and rushed over there. He indeed had killed himself. I look back on it now and admire his bravery. He didn't get it right the first time, so he stood back up (figuratively speaking) and tried again. He got it "right" the 2nd time. It took an exterme amount of couarge to attempt it once. I have no idea how hard it was to do it again. I don't get envious often but I find myself envying the courage he had. I so bad want to be able to do that yet all my life I have been a coward.

Thanks but that doesn't really bother me anymore. Yeah it hurt at first but knowing how messed up he was I understand why he did it. I'm not made or upset with him for doing it. As I said I admire his bravery.

Our emotions may not be understood by many.

I found myself jealous of mass murder victims last week. I thought how come they got lucky.

Depression is cruel and IRL people don't understand us.

I am pleased you are still here HD.

Much love to all

I know exactly how you feel. When I hear about mass deaths, no matter the circumstances, I am jealous and upset. Why do people who want to live die and people who want to die live?
