My job is ending and I'm scared of what's to come. It didn't turn into a permanent job as I had hoped. I've had some good periods when things went smooth. But that can't last for long in my life, I guess. Now I'm back to the void and I'm already feeling bad and I fear this will turn into another deep black hole I can barely get out of. I just can't go through a period like that again. Not one more time. There's too much pain and suffering and I barely got out of it last time. So I'm scared and hopeless now.
I hope you are doing better.

I’m so sorry to hear that, Mat. Do you think it would help your anxiety to start looking for another job right away, if you haven’t already? And isn’t Denmark a socialist country? Surely they won’t let you starve...

Or is it more of a concern that you’ll have too much time on your hands and the bad thoughts will take control?

Yes I fear the dark thoughts will come and I will go like that for too long a time. It was a big part of my worst depressive episodes. I saw my therapist today, and I’m so thankful I have her.
I just hope for a more steady life soon with a steady job and so on.
I had some good periods with this job, the everyday structure is good for me.
Hope you’re doing good too.

Mat, I feel I do understand. Exterior structure is so important, I think, when you're struggling with depressive thoughts. Absolutely, depend on your therapist. Sounds as if you have a good connection with her.

Ask to see her more often during hard times, if you can, if you need to.
