Another close friend has lost the battle to MI...
I was wondering whether to post this or not... If nothing else, tragedies like this might .... just might... Make some in this world realise the need to treat others who are suffering with respect and kindness. Also it makes me wonder.. Why am I still here.... Is there any purpose in this suffering and “madness” Peace and respect to all __________________ |

You know, Fuzzy, I think this is a very profound question you are asking. Why is it that some of us, in spite of the constant pain, just keep plugging along somehow? I certainly have no answers as to the "why" of things; it just seems that the desire to live, the life force, is very strong. VERY strong, despite all the obstacles. And when you consider that the whole business is by its nature temporary, that there was a beginning and there will be an end, according to the dictates of Mother Nature, that too puts a certain perspective on it.
I feel that my own life has been a trajectory, a learning experience, though I can't say why it should be that way if I'm eventually just going to fade away. In any case, my deepest sympathy for the loss of your friend. Mean, unfeeling words and unkind actions can make it so awfully hard for a sensitive person to live. |

I know it's difficult to deal with. I am sorry for your loss. Just think though. They ended their suffering. They didn't lose the battle. They took control and won on their terms.

So sorry for your loss. (((Hugs))) to you. I know it's hard when someone we care about is struggling. Now your friend is at peace. You're right, though. The message is to keep up the hope, desire, will to find peace in this life. It's possible. Just have to keep trying. Nothing is permanent. Everything changes.
