How many times do you reply to someone, and give of yourself....

To get No Response....

This isn’t meant literally... it’s a philosophical question, not a “whine” or a “blaming others” post or any of that bs some who love to judge others may suppose...

Do you make excuses for people?

Oh ... they are too depressed to click hugs to my post..

Oh... they are a “busy person”...

How many of us in early childhood were conditioned to accept

No Response ... or even an attack...

To our Normal Needs...

The above is a New Insight for me....

So since I’m capable of understanding new insights..
I’m also capable of “change”. If I want to change, for ME... not for some shadow who follows me and judges me (Not anyone here)

This Depression forum is particularly quiet...

Please do not take this as an insult to anyone here, it’s not intended.

I just think possibly...

I’m in the wrong forum...

AND on the wrong planet.

Peace and respect to all

Fuzzybear, I believe you know where I stand on this exact subject. It almost got me to leave the forum on my first day hear. I have now become more comfortable and I guess more adjusted on how the forum works. I just take the responses now that I do get as a plus and am extremely pleased with them all. All the members I have encountered here have been very nice and caring and helpful. I am so glad I found PC.

It is certainly painful when we don't receive ANY replies or worse, we are attacked! Don't let that discourage you from posting though! Me and many others appreciate your caring, kind posts! I'm SURE you're helping out much more people than you even realize just by being your adorable, sweet bear self! I'm SURE of that! Please keep posting! There ARE people who care about you! You DO belong here! You certainly do, my friend! THAT'S A PROMISE! We ALL very much care about you! YOU'RE A STRONG, WONDERFUL BEAR! Keep roaring, Fuzzybear! You're the best bear of them all! Please NEVER give up hope! YOU'RE THE STRONGEST AND THE MOST WONDERFUL OF THEM ALL! PLEASE DON'T YOU EVER FORGET THAT! Sending many safe, warm hugs to you, Fuzzybear, my dear, sweet friend!

Well... the Skeezyks is kind-of a cantankerous old goat. I rarely post my own threads. And I don't subscribe to the threads I reply to. So I rarely know if there was any kind of response to what I wrote.

It always seemed to me the depression forum was one of the more active forums here on PC. So maybe, if it seems quiet at the moment, it's a sign people are out in the nice weather enjoying their lives & thinking less about their depression? That would be a good thing I would presume. Let's hope, at least, that is the case.

I don't even know how to subscribe to a thread so I usually just scroll through the New posts every time I log on. I am probably missing a lot, but I have been trying to post a lot.
