FIRST and Foremost
This post is not directed towards ANYONE unless they are specifically mentioned.

I will often come to the forums here and see multiple posts by the same person covering different topics. I will read them to see what the poster has to say and I may respond if I have something positive/helpful to add or I may move on. Then I make 2 posts in the same day and start to worry Am I posting too much on here? Will I start to annoy others if I post to much?
So I ask the PC community do you get annoyed when I have several posts (on page 1) or does it not bother you?

You, specifically, don’t bother me Humpty Dumpty and I don’t think you post too much. I do know what you are talking about though and that does at times bother me.

Not at all. I think people if they have something on there mind and they want to express that then post it. This is an open forum to post on. There are of course rules and guidelines we all must follow and I have not seen anymore break any of those in the little time I have been here. Also if someone doesn't want to post or respond than no one is twisting there arm to do so. Humpty Dumpty keep doing what you are doing if you have something to say or a concern to be listened to.

You do not post too much!!

I would tell you to post more, except that that would be telling you what to do, and that might be flagged as non-supportive!

I may not answer, but your posts make me think. I am not far from your way of thinking. One t used to tell me, i want you to call me before you do anything drastic. I was like, if i AM ABLE call you, then i wouldnt need to do anything drastic! What dont they get??

No, it does not bother me.

Aside: Several years ago I remember coming across a web forum that limited posters to 100 posts per day.

Personally I think kindness is more important than the quantity of posts. I would rather see several threads by someone in pain than the personal attacks found on some other forums. I appreciate the support of most posters here.

Sadly in my case it is neither quality nor quantity.

I hear you, HumptyDumpty! I'm afraid I post too much as well! I don't believe you post too much though. In fact I'd like to see you post MORE. I really appreciate your kind and supportive posts and your relatable threads. We're here to support each other and to look for support so there's nothing wrong with posting accordingly to our own needs and desires. Please feel free to post as much as you need to and want to Please don't be hard on yourself. You have EVERY RIGHT to post here as much as everyone else does. KEEP POSTING! Sending many safe, warm hugs to you, Humpty Dumpty!

I think that kindness is more important than judgments about who does or does not “post too much”... Who is the judge and arbitrator of what is “too much”..? I have seen vicious attacks on other websites (not anywhere I’ve posted) and I’m grateful that most here are kind and mostly non judgmental. This is, after all, a support site.

If posting here helps someone (especially someone who can’t afford good therapy etc) then who am I to be the judge of that.

I would hope that people here are interested in supporting others and not in counting up numbers of posts and responses.

Also kind words can in some cases heal. And cruel words can most definitely harm. I think that all of us are here on pc to be kind and encouraging to all who are in pain. At least that has always been what I have tried to do.

Respect to all

I don't see any logical reason for someone to be bothered by the mere quantity of posts by another user. Sounds like something that would fit right in the "incomprehensibly irks you" thread.

If someone for whatever reason is bothered by how much you or someone else posts. That shouldn't stop anyone from posting as much as they want. If it's really such an issue for some, they're free to use the ignore function.
