There was a question by a member recently asking if they make “too many” threads or “too many” posts,...

My personal take on this.

Many of us here have been viciously judged by people irl. And many of us have a harsh inner critic. So I see a lot of value in not judging others for the quantity or lack of quantity of posts they make. Everyone has things that trigger them.. I could be triggered by someone telling me the sky is green.

Personally, I also think everyone has something of value to contribute. That is why I personally don’t often use the “ignore” button.

I have occasionally been triggered by, for example, someone making multiple suicide threats, in titles of posts.

But I never judged those people ... either in their thread or someone else’s thread.

Frankly... who am I to judge.

If my kind words have even once helped a fellow human who is in pain...

Then I am kinder than my abusers (irl). And for that I am grateful

Fuzzybear, you keep doing what you are doing. Posts and threads is what makes up this forum. So post away my friend. I really think people can find fault in just about anything and just for my sanity and I know it is really hard to ignore, but I just try and do just that. Let people do what they want and make there statement, but you continue to make you statement in you own way by continuing to make your kind and caring posts and threads. It is helpful to the forum and to people here. I can totally attest to that myself. Keep it up.

Tolerance for everyone to be and post AS IS.

Judging others serves no purpose.

I don't use ignore because I would not want to exclude another poster.

Good post Thirty shades, I agree

Judging others is ... sub optimal... and serves no purpose

Some of us (many of us?) know how much being excluded can hurt. This is why I also very rarely use ignore.

You sound like a beautiful person in your posts. People who are struggling need to hear things like this. In a world that judges, in minds that judge ourselves, we are all just searching for a space to exist. ❤

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
