I find it hard to pick myself up and catch myself from falling when I am being triggered so much. I have no energy left. And now I have panic rising up in me so many times a day.

It all is trashing my self esteem. I feel really useless and my memories of emotional meltdowns leave me with large doses of toxic shame.

Much respect to you and everyone who is suffering
Much respect to you dear Thirty shades. You're not useless.

Toxic shame, I hate that feeling

Hugs and respect to all who are suffering

Hi Buffy01,

I also used to feel the same way; going out makes me more depressed and anxious. After that, I started meditation, focused on self-care, read books that provide positive thoughts, etc. It helps me to feel better than before.

I hope it helps you.

I struggle a lot with sad feelings. Recently, I started going through a DBT workbook. I'm doing the green one by McKay. It's been helping me. I've learned to use REST when I feel bad. And that leads to doing things that distract or soothe me. Another thing I'm learning from the book is mindfulness and meditation. Those are quite helpful. Perhaps you could speak with your therapist about some DBT techniques. I wish you well.

I can't get in YouTube because of a cyber bullying and nearly having my YouTube account banned. I'm working on self care. I'm looking for more self help books.
