Thoughts about depression:
It's not something you choose
It's not something you have caused
-you might be abused
--By your parents, or
--by your sibilings
--or you were bullied
-you might have lost someone important

Or you may just don't know how to live in this world
--job, school, college, family
--the cruelty of this world

You might have a nice life until something just starts to feel wrong
--Maybe you know what's wrong
--Maybe you don't (and it's feel almost worse)
---Why does it feel wrong? Is it between me, myself and I?
----It's everything, the whole world, my sight

What are your thoughts about depression?

That prose sounds precisely like me.

Depression is tough. I've spent many days depressed. I believe it's mainly chemical. Under normal circumstances we have the coping skills (with training or development) to deal with depression. I also believe that once healthy we can choose happiness. It's all up to how we want to live our day. Do we want to react sadly or do we want to be an observer and not pass judgement. I try to let things go as much as I can. Sometimes I do feel sad. I acknowledge that, feel it and then move on. Feelings are meant to be felt. Not feared or pushed away.
