Hello all,

I was hoping to talk a bit about some of the feelings I've been going through for a bit.

In summary, I've been feeling very depressed for the last month now. This is not meant to sound alarmist, but I don't know how many more months of these I can do. This is my second major episode this year, I don't know particularly what has been making me so sensitive lately but it seems that small things just keep pushing me into a very dark place.

Really the thing that is tiring me out is the pain. I use to be apathetic to my depression, but these last few times have been very very painful. And the pain gets exhausting after a while.

I just want things to feel fine. I just want to not break down crying every night. I just don't want to feel like I'm better off dead.

I don't feel like its so much to ask, but it apparently is.

The Skeezyks recalls replying to your introductory post. I'm sorry you are in so much pain. I'm certain there are a lot of members, here on PC, who will be able to relate to what you are experiencing. In your introductory post, you mentioned you were referred to PC to help with your depression. Hopefully that means you're working with some type of mental health professional. Having the opportunity to talk through what is going on with you is one important part of the healing process it seems to me. There are also other things you can do just on your own though. Here are links to 4 articles, from PC's archives, that offer suggestions:

Hang in there, @zeeter! You won't suffer forever and you deserve to live a good life. Just hang in there Are you working with a therapist right now? Are you taking any meds? Usually these things can help a little bit. Just don't give up, ok? You will feel better at some point. I'm sure of that Please NEVER give up hope! YOU ARE IMPORTANT AND YOU MATTER! Please keep fighting as much as you possibly can. It is not easy but I'm sure you can make it. You are STRONG. Please don't you EVER forget that! I agree with what the Skeezyks has already wisely said better than I ever could. If things get worse, please call an hotline or go to an hospital. Your safety must be the number one priority! Sending many safe, warm hugs to you, zeeter, and to ALL the people you Love and who truly Love you!
