What qualities would you like a leader of people, in real life, or online (for example pc) to have?

This question was inspired partly by little turtle who very kindly said I have a lot of potential to be a leader on pc. I don’t really agree... not because I’m “bad” or “defective” or any of the lists of cruel labels abusers used about me (maybe deep down they themselves feel those horrible things ) (for those who don’t know me the step maternal unit was a textbook example of that )
(Sorry this turned into a bit of a rant )

Hugs and respect to all

I think they have to be good listeners and not jump to conclusions.

I do think you are one of PC's leaders. You listen and are a friend to so many of us! You mostly focus on positivity (though it is fine and necessary to be negative/acknowledge abuse--it is just good to balance the negative with positives). Your kindness to everyone is a great example for me.

I think a good leaders take the time to get to know the people they lead and then, once they understand their strengths and weaknesses, they give them the tools, encouragement, authority, situations, etc. where they can shine. A good leader promotes the people under them by delegating authority and letting their people run with the ball including giving them credit for their accomplishments. A good leader creates other great leaders and coworkers. A good leader takes care of the people they work with.
