So why do I not care about anything. Like I feel fine and I have recently learned to love myself. But beyond me i dont care. I can't make myself care. I say im sorry when someone brings up an issue they are having but i dont care. My brother was injured in a car accident and I couldnt care less. It is affecting my family but I dont care!!! Just wondering if this is still depression or my schizophrenia. I mean I don't care either way but im tired of getting into arguments because i dont care. It's too much work.

Thanks for sharing this. I don't know what causes it. I suppose it could be related to depression or schizophrenia in some way. But I suspect it would take a mental health professional to figure that out. So if you're participating in some sort of therapy services, perhaps that would be the place to delve into it?

Could it be that at one point in your life you did care and got hurt so now you are sorta afraid to care?

I'm not an expert so please take my words with a grain of salt, @pricehaylein. It seems lIke your depression is affecting you. Sometimes when we're depressed we can feel REALLY apathetic to the World around us and generally too tired to do anything. It seems like that's what you're experiencing right now. Is that correct? Either way, the only way to make sure is to talk to a doctor or psychiatrist like the wise Skeezyks has already wonderfully said. I feel like the wise and wonderful sarahsweets may be onto something as well. Still, please reach out to a professional. They're there to help you. Please be kind to yourself and try to make this little effort. Take things slowly, one step at the time. Take baby, small steps. We care. Feel free to PM me anytime when you're in need of Advice and Support. I'm sure plenty of others will be glad to help and listen as well! Sending many safe, warm hugs BOTH You, @princehaylein, Your Family, Your Friends and ALL Of Your Loved Ones! I am DEEPLY SORRY for what you're going through. Please keep fighting and NEVER GIVE UP HOPE NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!
