How do you pull yourself out? How do you find the will to....move? I'm going through one of the really low lows where I could just stare at the wall all day. No desire for anything...just occasional crying and internal screaming.

I'm tired of googling because generic answers like "exercise!" Or "talk to a friend" aren't really what I'm looking for. And I don't want to talk to anyone about it because no one seems to get it.....I feel incredibly alone and empty.

So you, people who get it.....what do you do to try to help yourself?

I just make myself do whatever it is I need to be doing that day. It's what I've always done. It often hasn't been pretty. But it's what I do. Many years ago my father used to say: "You're not required to like it. You're just required to do it." I take that as my mantra. Sooner or later the darkness passes...
