Has anyone here tried ECT? I've had depression for years now and just nothing seems to work so I think about trying ECT. Heard good things about it from my sister and aunt, who both happen to be nurses. But also read nasty ***** online that it's horrible. So back to the original question: has anyone here tried ECT and can give their two cents on it?

I have done unilateral and bilateral. It worked eventually but I had very bad memory problems. I had to use gps every time I got in a car cause I didn’t know how to get places. I do ketamine infusions now and prefer them a lot more than ECT.
