Plans for Thursday:

1. Fedex medical form
2. Run errands
3. Take out trash
4. Clean car
5. Inner work
6. Read part of a good book

I have these tasks timed throughout the day along with helpful things such as meditation so my day is structured.

Warm regards to all.

Glad you fond it helpful! Hope you understood "pyclothymia". I must have been very tired. It should have been the word 'Cyclothymia".

By the way I find myself very tired, now, one day before the weekend starts. The training must have been too hard for me in the beginning of the week. Well, that is how it is. We plan something in the hope to master it. Then we find out that the ambitions were too high. But, there are always a time to try again (and not to forget to fail again )... and then try again with a somewhat changed goal ....

Good wishes!

This morning I felt OK for the first time since my SAD became worse after New Year. May be it was the weather? I mean, I had guests here for Christmas, was a guest myself for New Year, and then I felt for taking time off from all duties. At the same time the weather became worse; dark, rain, windy (while I was resting inside and slept over the time when it is wise to use the Light box. If one use the box too late in the morning, it can make it difficult to fall into sleep in the evening).

If so, it confirms the hypothesis about that leaving time unstructured is not wise for people with some kind of chronic depression.

The exercises for the TMD have helped so far. I feel better and I had my last appointment with the dentist to day.

I hope to continue with my normal life (carting, planning the days, have a satisfied social life, try to make a balance between activity and rest, and not to forget, to be aware of my personal triggers (red flags) and prepare for meeting these at a proper and good way for me).

Best wishes and good hopes for each one of you!

I was able to complete all of my tasks for Thursday except for cleaning the car and that was because we had a cold snap. I could be turning the corner with the SAD. Today I will play handyman and fix both the ice maker and the shower. I am also going to do some light housework, finances and inner work as well. I plan to continue reading for relaxation.

Warm regards to all.

I got home from the hospital today. I've been inpatient for almost a week. Now I am settling in, ordering supplies and spending time with my cats. I will talk with family later and try to play a game.

Hope all are well!

Today I feel well. It's early. I have straightened up some and cleaned litter boxes. I did my self-care and pet care. I will take a nap soon then order groceries. I have organization planned for later in the day. Some games and reading, as well. Maybe a movie or two. I might try to do some art. Hope everyone has a good start to the week today!

I successfully fixed the shower over the weekend. Now on to the ice maker! There is an issue I’ve been grieving over so I’m trying to stay busy. Today I plan to do some housework, make some calls, fix the ice maker, complete some inner work, and go out to eat and to a movie.

Warm regards to all for a peaceful Tuesday.

That's great you got the shower fixed. Good luck with the ice maker. Glad you're knocking items off your to do list. Sorry you are grieving. Sending good thoughts your way.

I did very little housework yesterday and today I don't really have much to do. I want to try to focus on fun things. I haven't been feeling well emotionally. Part of me wishes I was back in the hospital. I'm so stressed. I have an appointment Friday for my knee, but I don't feel like going. I know I should. It's just too stressful. I don't want to leave my house. I guess my main goal for today would be to clean litter boxes and do some coloring. I feel relaxed when I color. Hope everyone is doing well today!

I want to add that a structured day, of course, doesn't have to be a day to work from morning to evening. A good structured day for depressed people has a place for both activity and rest, work and play, for when to go to bed and when to get up (good sleeping habits). It is a guarantee that meals are not skipped and more. It's a frame that helps the person vulnerable to depression to keep "things" at a manageable plan, just as an owner of house and garden might have a fence around the garden to mark what is her's (obligation to take care of and what is not).

Be well all!

I mainly slept today. I don't think I did any housework. Tomorrow I will have to clean litter boxes. Hope everyone is well!

This morning is a little rough on me. I don't have the energy I would like to have. But I'm forcing myself to clean litter boxes. I did 3 and I have 2 more to go. I'm playing a game and taking breaks to do housework. Later I will open packages and straighten up a bit. That's all I have planned. I hope everyone is having a good day!

I don't feel depressed, but really tired (all my physical diagnosis). My blood glucose is too high as well.

Since I'm too tired to make a plan for tomorrow I will try to make one after breakfast tomorrow.

I need regular meals (to keep the blood glucose stable). I hope theese fixed meal times will help me and I will try to work them into my daily routine:

1) Breakfast at 07:30 (slices of bread with tomatoes + milk)
2) Lunch at 11:00 (except for the days I am at the gym) slices of bread and mackerel
3) Dinner at 14:00 (chicken with broccoli or fish, salad an then fruit)
Rest after dinner
4) A slice of bread with jam (instead of cake) with coffee at 17:00
5) An evening meal (heavy), egg and sausages at 19:00
7) A little bit of food before bedtime
I hope that so many meals at fixed times will help to keep the blood glucose stable.

I wish everyone a good Friday!

Blood glucose level is still high. New Diabetes medication since yesterday. Am worried. Will eat, write a list for the grocery shop, hygiene, take a walk, grocery shop. Try to continue to write my daily plan for today when home again.

Be well all!

Had a busy morning. Made it to my doctor appointment. Got a steroid injection in my knee and scheduled a nerve test for my hand. Also went out to eat with my mom. It was nice. I am really happy I made it out the house. And it was good to treat my mom for all the help she gave me while I was hospitalized. I wanted to show my appreciation. I think it's the third time I've gone out to eat in a year. I want to do something nice for myself today. Not sure what I will do. Maybe try to color and relax. I deserve a relaxing day.

Hope everyone is well today!!

Finally made it out of the house on a cold, rainy night to attend a drum circle with candle light and gong meditation. Just what the doctor ordered. I have not felt up to tasks lately so my to do list is long. Since I have a busy week next week with appointments or events every day, I plan to work at a reasonable pace on my list this weekend. I will take frequent breaks and be compassionate with myself in my abilitiy to get things done.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Warm regards to all.
