Felt pretty good about today. My friend came to visit and we we hung out and talked about things including our mental health journey's. It's good to have a friend on the same page, it took away some of my depression. Depression exacerbated by the sense of being cut off and alone.

About me -> I guess in a way it was good that my friend didn't come to visit me yesterday because I was very bogged down with work at home and it was very hot outside. At least we talked a couple of times on the phone and that was like a consolation prize. He doesn't understand depression that much. He claims that he never had a struggle with it.

The movie I saw last night wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It wasn't great but at least it wasn't horrible like I thought it would be.

This morning I plan to do some light domestic stuff that shouldn't take very long. I don't know what to do after it's done. It's a nice day outside and a bit cooler than yesterday. We're in for a cooling trend now, which is good news for me.

I have finished the first major rewrite on my current project, which leaves two more rewrites to be finished according to my current plans. I have also begun work on my next project, which I am only doing very minimal work on before my current project is finished. I hope to have this next project finished by the end of the winter, which may be feasible since it will be much shorter and simpler a story than my last.

I realised today that I didn't get one of my medications filled when I needed it a few days ago, so unintentionally I haven't been taking it. That could be why I've been feeling not so great the past couple of days.

This morning when I first got up, I felt depressed. I guess I was worrying about getting older and what would I do with myself at that time. But I got busy later on and those thoughts went away.

Did some odds and ends work at my place and then I went on a two and a half hour bike ride this afternoon. My bike rode very well today because I had service done on it earlier last week.

Nothing much exciting this weekend but not bad. My sister had called while I was on my bike this afternoon. I called her back but didn't get a hold of her.

I haven’t felt well today..mentally or physically. I hope I can get to sleep soon and start fresh tomorrow.

I have a swarm of little sparrows swooping down from the trees outside my window, eating bread. But you can see they're always very much on edge - they peck a piece of bread then immediately dart back into the trees - because of a neighborhood cat who sleeps not far away, heh.

Yes, cute little things sparrows. Very smart, too. The power of flight.

Been sick with a bad cold. Plus recent bloodwork indicates I'm very anemic. I'm tired and not keeping up with things.

My s.o. is supposed to come home soon from the nursing home. I feel like I can barely cope. And he doesn't always understand that I'm not made of steel.

I went to work today but I could have had the day off with pay since it's a holiday. It's called a "floating holiday". I wished that I had taken it since it was very slow today as expected.

Other than that, I may be getting an exercise equipment pretty soon. I have narrowed down one that looks pretty good to me. We'll see!

I feel okay for the most part. I started feeling a little sad when I started on my housework. I may just go back to bed for a while.

As for me I got up early for the first time in two weeks. I feel refreshed. I turned on music and will read for a little bit. I hope that helps to boost my mood. And for some reason, when I talk I say the mood. I'm not sure why I do that. I need to take ownership for my self.

Today was busier at work and more people there. So that was nice for me. But still very slow and the time drags.

I'm on the verge of making a decision on what to buy for an exercise equipment. Once I decide on what I want then I will test it out to see if it will work for me.

I'm trying to get used to the sun going down earlier now since the time change. I miss my bike rides after work.

I think this novel has the potential to be my best yet. Of course, that's not saying much. I'm terrible.

me and my long distance girlfriend broke up...I am heartbroken....we were really compatible....it was the distance that did it. we couldn't come to a plan of meeting up....she tried to transfer out here and she wasn't able to....

I miss her a lot....

I wound up pulling the trigger and ending things for the both of us.....

I am incredibly depressed. I don’t think I can go on. I am burnt out. I am trapped.
