The ''official supports'' (irl) have almost all failed to be supportive.

They do not believe that my mental health is a priority.

I'm trying to be factual here, not ''blaming''. It ''was what it was''

And I'm not at all optimistic that if I reached out for ''help'' or ''support'' from ''official supports'' irl again they would be supportive.

So.. I suppose... I'm perceived as …. insert negative label... so therefore not a ''priority'' for them. Or not a ''priority'' for them for some other, unknown, reason.

Its not easy... to not ''blame'' self

And not to ''blame'' the lack of support they failed to give me.

or rather they did ''succeed'' in giving a lack of support and retraumatised me in the process

I may be blamed by some for not ''accepting'' this lack of support, respect, and understanding and ''moving on''.... moving on to where? Another country I suppose.

I realise that some reading in this forum may not understand this at all.

I'm very happy for those who have received nothing but understanding and kindness from ''official supports'' irl.

Some, including me, think that things are at least 20 years behind in this forest irl.

Respect and peace to all

This is what happens irl. No reply

They want us to be ''normal'' and to take the ''medications'' and nothing else.

I'm sick of it

Being me.

The forest we live in is worse than unsupportive...

The trauma they induce worsens us over time.
I wonder why I kept going back for more....
I did because I was foolish enough to think someone would help...

Now I spend most of my time hiding in my hole
I am treated like a criminal for that too...

Blamed for being intolerant, allergic of meds or finding they worsen your health

Emotional response to life's trauma's is of course our own fault
We just love to crumble into pieces rather than be "normal"

Our talents and gifts stolen but of course we are just born useless
Unless you count being useful to bolster the ego's of bullies and abusers...

I am thinking of you Fuzzybear
Sending much love to you and your snake
Big hugs

Interesting you should say this! Without reference to any particular country or forest, I recently viewed a recorded presentation on a medical topic in which the speaker said it takes about 17 YEARS for experimental developments to filter down to clinical medical practice.

In the context of the presentation, this applies not only to completely new findings but also to revisions or corrections to established procedures.
