☡☡ possible trigger warning ☡☡
Just found out that yesterday a UPS courier was taken hostage and killed. I keep thinking why did it have to be him? Why couldn't it be me? I live in a city with a high crime rate. I am a courier for a major company like him. Why couldn't someone do this to me? My company pays out a lot of money if you are accidentally killed on the job. That would take care of my wife. |

 He didn't deserve it. Neither do you. Please don't talk about yourself like that... you deserve to live a peaceful Life just like he, hopefully, did until he, unfortunately, died. Perhaps you can try to see it from the opposite side: you can try to be grateful for the fact that this horrible thing DIDN'T happen to you. I am sorry if this sounds terrible! I don't think it's selfish to be happy to be Alive, though. Perhaps you can try to make the most out of your opportunity at Life while you're at it?  I am sure your Wife would very much prefer having you for the rest of your Lives than whatever money she may receive. Please be kind to yourself!  Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @Twitch99, your Family, your Friends, your Wife and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
