Where would you like to visit in the next 2 months, if you could visit anywhere?
Where specifically, not with whom, or to whom (or where to stay or can I pay for it..) Possibly Hinterzarten, Germany. Happy New Year to those reading __________________ |

I would like to buy a new truck and then take a driving tour of the American southwest (Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas).

There's tons of desert in those areas. It's very weird. Make sure you fill up your gas tank before you leave civilization. I drove on this road from Arizona to California and there's was literally nothing for over 100 miles and no intersections either. Interesting to see, but I had enough of the desert after seeing it once. I would like to see more of the coast of California and also the sequoia trees. Grand Canyon is a must see if you go to Arizona.

I'd spend an equal amount of time in rural and urban areas, on such a trip, as there would be large cities to explore, like DFW and Phoenix. I lived in a Dallas suburb as a teenager and I'd be curious to see firsthand how it's changed in 20 years. Also I'd like to see things like the Grand Canyon, as you mentioned, and the Monument Valley. However, I'd spend most of my time driving around, exploring little towns and isolated country roads, just seeing what's there. That's what I do when on vacation in my home province, and it makes me happy. |
