Good morning, Mickey. (It's 11:00 am where I am).

I was thinking about your situation this morning when something came to mind.

I don't know if you remember the figure skater Michelle Kwan -- she may have been a little before your time, but she is a 2-time Olympic Champion. She has always been a fine technician, but when she was first starting to compete she just couldn't seem to get into anything emotionally. She couldn't think of anything she wanted to express in her program. Her coach was working with her trying to light a fire under her somehow, and -- Voila! An idea came.

She started putting on different kinds of music, and asked Michelle to just start moving to the music, just improvising, not worrying about choreography or anything. They tried different kinds of music. Finally she put on a sort of slinky Arabic kind of music, the kind you'd wear a belly dancing costume to. Amazingly, to that Michelle came alive. You wouldn't have thought it was her type of thing necessarily, but she LOVED it, and she started moving to it, expressing herself.

From that they developed her championship routine.

Thank you ALL for your Kindness and Wisdom! In the end, I didn't end up doing the Exam... I chickened out. I realize how cowardly that was, but I just couldn't do it. My parents were understanding but I didn't tell them that I didn't do the Exam. I'm such a coward! I do feel like a disappointment right now and I know I should be grateful because I have two loving parents, something that not many people have. I do feel grateful, but I am also ashamed for how I'm handling my situation! Well... now I have to see what to do. My parents also want me to help find a Job and we're looking into that. I am not really sure about what to do exactly, though. I am REALLY happy my Parents are willing to help though, I really don't know what I would do without them! Thank you for listening and for understanding, guys. You are the best. Sending many safe, warm hugs to ALL and EVERYONE and EVERYONE of your Friends and Relatives and Families and Colleagues and Acquiantences and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
