This morning for an hour now I've been ruminating about how FedEx didn't leave some packages at my door. Instead they sent them over to the leasing office. It's such a hassle to go by the office to pick up stuff. I have tons of packages there that I won't pick up. I just re-order the stuff. But now it's weighing heavily on my mind. I just want the leasing office to return all the items. I never want to go pick them up. I'm just making myself sick with worry over this. Do you ever get into a mind rut like this? How do you stop yourself?
I think I will try to distract myself with a video or music or maybe a book. My stomach is starting to hurt I've been fretting so much. I'm just angry at the situation. It's out of my control. I guess I just have to accept that I didn't get my deliveries and move on. __________________ ‘Live for now,’ ‘This too shall pass,’ ‘Everything is happening for my good.’ |

Awe Deilla!
I suppose I do get into a mind rut like that, anxious about like going out, but, in the end, I just do it...usually. Or perhaps you can get someone to go with you to pick up your stuff? I'm sorry, but it seems such a shame to have spent all that money and then just reorder stuff again. :/ But I completely agree with being upset and angered with FedEx. I get upset when I can't make it to the door on time (or frankly don't want to because I don't want to see people or have people see me) and they don't leave the package, but send it to the post office. Usually my husband goes to pick them up then, but he's not happy about it either because he hardly gets time off as it is and this just wastes more time. But that's why I suggested having someone go with you... i hope I am not just making things worse for you. I know it's hard to hear things sometimes when we're already in a rut. *hugs __________________ Celexa (Citalopram) 20mg Levothyroxine .75mg Liothyronine 5MCG (2x daily) Probiotics And a whole slew of vitamin and herbal supplements. |

Thank you! I had to take out my trash today. The dumpster isn't that far from the leasing office. I just headed over there when I was done with my trash. It worked out. I had my buggy with me and I just put everything in there. So it's taken care of finally. I feel better. I can't believe I made it out to be bigger than expected. The only hard part was being out in public without a shower. I didn't bathe for this. I just put perfume on and headed out the door. I don't care.

I think you should be proud of yourself for doing something that was hard for you. Give yourself a pat on the back!

Yes, thank you! I need to be compassionate with myself and feel good about accomplishing that task. Maybe next time will be easier. Less dread in my mind. I always work things up in my mind to be worse than they really are. It's part of the reason I avoid so many things.

Yes, I think it will be easier next time. Try not to worry too much about it, and just do it.
