I feel alone somehow. I guess I feel as though I am bothering people when I try to interact.

I try not to take things personally. I am just not sure how to feel a bit less by myself.

I am sort of sad, disappointed, hurt and perhaps bored.

Have you always felt that way? Please, say more.

I’m sorry you’re feeling lonely. I have a hard time with loneliness too and I think sometimes I confuse loneliness with boredom.

Yes loneliness is tough and I enjoy living alone, but like to interact with co-workers at break time and lunch, and now that’s been taken away, at least for a month or more.

Welcome to pc. Thanks for sharing, there are a lot of friendly and supportive people on pc who you can interact with, which might help you feel a little less lonely. As you probably know, there are other forums as well as this depression section, there is a “social chat” forum etc. I hope to hear more from you You can also PM me if it might help.

I think this is a common feeling if diagnosed with depression and also if family have been less than supportive. We are all ears here, you are not bothering anyone here.

Being lonely is common for us

I have some success when I make a deeper connection to myself and practice self love.

i think for many of us it is a particularly lonely time, not so much for being alone but not feeling able to reach out or feeling that you won't be welcome somehow...at least by those you need to feel that from...

I've learned that loneliness is relative. You can be in a room full of people and still fill alone, and be completely by yourself and not feel lonely at all. I'm sorry that you feel lonely right now. I often feel that way, and that no one understands, However, I have found that if you do in fact feel this way, this is one of the best places to be. A lot of people here share the same emotions that you do. Welcome to PC.
