when i had my first panic attack #1.....after that i didn't want anyone to know...
i was afraid that i would be looked down upon... ashamed of what happened...
very afraid what my fellow doctors would think...was it a sign of weakness...
i was really scared of almost everything...even getting my haircut...

I imagine you must have discussed it many times over with your therapist, yes? Not wishing to intrude here, but I know how awful it feels to be really frightened.

Also in the medical field there is a certain machismo.

it happened a very long time ago ....1965....it was unreal...i was with a group of psychiatrists....i love talking about all my traumas...i get off on it...

Panic is the worst part of mental health for me.
I feel a loss of self and my mind.

It happens too many times in a day...

My meditation yesterday encouraged me not to fear the feeling of panic because it feeds it.
These feelings all happen very quickly.
