Hi. I don’t have any great book ideas. I have heard Full Catastrophe Living is helpful. I have not read it though. I have an app that I am trying now that is helping me with meditation and mindfulness. Calm is good. I use Abide because I am a believer in the Messiah. I think the Bible has some insight into depression, as several prophets were depressed. So that gives me comfort because I know that the Creator values those of us who are depressed. The thing that I hear is really crucial for winning over depression is exercise. I can’t force myself to do it often enough to know if it works or not. But maybe you can. 🤗🤗

Hi Roxyanne, and greetings.

Two books I like are Feeling Good, by David Burns - it's kind of a classic of cognitive behavioral therapy - and Taming Your Gremlin, by Rick Carson.

The Gremlin one is cute and easy to read, but it's helpful in identifying the ways in which we sabotage ourselves, based on our upbringing.

Best wishes to you.

I also think “feeling good” is a pretty good book. I haven’t read the other book, thanks for the suggestion.
