I know how that can be, my recent downturn spun on a dime I can literally pinpoint nearly to the minute when I went downhill again. I’m sorry you’re struggling.

Same here... frustrating when it happens, as there seems to be absolutely no way out. I know it's possible for it to be better, it just seems impossible. Best wishes to you both and everyone else struggling on finding solutions...

I know exactly when it happened too. I feel I'm realizing that thing's don't change, at all goes around in circles, and I'm never really getting better and out of this. I'm not getting help.

Hi Mat,
I know you've moved and wonder how that's affecting you. Also if you're still looking for a job. ((((((( HUGS ))))))) __________________ |

Also Mat, I was very glad to hear that you'd done better for a time.
Any idea why? Anything you can attribute that to? Might be worth knowing. __________________ |

I just feel like I’m going in circles. I talked to a person at the jobcenter here in this new town, and it’s just the same I keep hearing. I was hopibg for something more. We’re now having a “network meeting” with my psychiatrist to figure something out (I emailed my psychiatrist about how I felt and she was very kind - I think it was even in her holiday - and she quickly responded) But I don’t have any faith that anyone can help me anymore. I also get very angry that no one can really help me. I’m done and just tired. __________________ |

I know, Mat. I know how awful it feels. That is, I don't know exactly how YOU feel, but I can imagine because of how I've felt in the past, and it's awful. I wish there was something I could do or say to make things better for you.
As with SlumberKitty, I can offer you only HUGS. Circumstances are bad all over the world now. __________________ |

Thanks Mopey. How are you these days. Hurts me to see how badly the US is hit at the moment. Another thing is this new place I live. It feels like a college dorm. Nothing wrong with that, but I’m 33 and it’s not what I’m looking for. Seems like most people in my building are teenagers-early 20s. At least the act like that (I think the owners of the building take in a lot of young people who are a bit troubled one way or another). So I also feel a bit like an outsider here - story of my life really (I almost have to laugh about it at this point). So I don’t want to seem angry or unpleasant towards them- I act nicely when I see them, but am not really interested in anymore than that (because of the age gap. We’re too different). __________________ |

Re your living situation: I think it always helps to be pleasant towards people, even if you don't have much interest in them. Keeps things more peaceful for you. I'm sure you'll be getting used to your new place for some time to come and finding out more things about it. I wondered if you had found a gym there yet, as you used to say the workouts were sometimes helpful for you. Here, because of the abysmal lack of leadership, most of our gyms are still closed. This affects my husband very badly. He says he feels anxious all the time when he can't exercise. But in Denmark I think they handled things much better so perhaps the gyms are open. Thinking of you.... __________________ |
