When our emotions and feelings surge beyond our control...

When those who are closest cannot hear us....

Things are unBEARable....

Hugs and respect to all who know this situation

I can relate dear Thirty shades. I had logged out. I'm glad I logged in again and saw this. I had thought of staying offline all evening

It's pretty much my MAIN struggle EVERY BLOODY DAY. So, ya I know exactly how you feel. It is very painful and lonely. I feel insane alot of times when I cant bear my emotions and people can't relate to me. Even to bring feelings up I feel like sometimes I have to dance around it for ten minutes before I can even start to talk because I can't stand to see another confused or dismissive look.

You are not alone!!

I'm alone. I always was. The psychologist told me that

Yes, that's why I came to the board just now. I have NO support system. I turned to my family, which was a mistake. They're the religious right wing type who think if you suffer a long time, you did something to deserve it and now they're judging me for my pain, which is worse than just ignoring me.

I don't know about the original poster, but this makes me feel better, knowing I'm not alone in being alone. Just reading these posts gives me a lift. Feeling extra alone today.

I've felt alone for a lot of my lifetime. There had been times when I had some friends and lived with my family, but even in those times I felt alone. I didn't know why. But there were times when I felt very fulfilled and thankful for the friends I had.

Nowadays, I have lived alone for many decades. I've felt less lonely living alone than when I lived with my family. That sounds kind of strange I guess.

I only have one friend now and he doesn't understand my struggles with depression. I want to replace him, but it's been difficult for that to happen. Lately it has hurt me at my job that a lot of people are not there anymore. I felt like I had some good support there. But I never hung out with anyone from my job. I live in a small apartment place but it seems like the fellow neighbors are distant from me. There are some at my place who don't like me.

I have come to prefer living alone. I enjoy my own company.

There are just times when we all need someone else to help us through.

Hugs to all who feel alone or unsupported
