Don’t let my parts b.s. you, we don’t even post on FB because it’s like saying “hey world....”, too scary of a place, but also all the different ideas of how one became a multiple makes it even harder to relate.
Someplace private would be nice....but even there when there are too many other people we shell up, take Kathy’s new forum....too many people. |

the integration forum would not have been a private integration board. it would have been just like the garden and teen areas up in that same area psych central sub forums are not private. they are located in the disorder boards just like any other forums here on psych central. if you want something private there is the premier poohbah forum (information on how to have access to that is in frequently asked questions, social groups (just click on social groups tab at top of psych central pages and chat (just click on chat tab at top of page or at bottom of your page.) |

I pretty much read everything, and integration posts there are not much of. I would be interested to reading even if not posting anything.
So much little I know of the process, effects, T no no’s, etc... Maybe if I can see some personal possibilities? |

In the area where I live DID is simply not treated. If you can find an "expert," they really don't know what they are doing, and can do more hatm than good. This was my unfortunate experience upon my early diagnosis, and the reason I didn't understand or have openness to integration. I wish it was discussed more, if only as a topic of interest.

I like the idea of an integration thread. I've been integrated for 7 years but I'm still dissociative. I'll always be dissociative. It's my go to coping strategy. However, I don't have much in common anymore with people who are still actively DID. It's hard to find a place for me on this board.

It sounds like it would be helpful to a lot of people here, amandalouise. I hope some day we will have an integration forum where people can share their doubts and fears. Sending many hugs to everyone
