if Im remembering right somewhere like with in the last week or two you were highly upset over seeing your files do say Schizophrenia on them. you stated you contacted your treatment providers and made them change your files to DID.

my suggestion is if you feel schizophrenia best fits you then contact your treatment providers and tell them you no longer want your files changed.

by the way people with schizophrenia ............can............... have alters and altered personality / altered mood switching which ever wording your own treatment provider is using and the treatment that you are on IFS is done for these kinds of things too.

I definitely don't want my records changed to that. I just want to know if I actually have that but I have a Psychiatric nurse practioner, and LCSW and a Psychologist telling me I dont so I dont know. You mean schizophrenics can have DID as well or a part of schizophrenia can involve having alters. How would you know the difference between DID alters or schizophrenia alters?

yes there are many different kinds of parts / alters

yes there are many different kinds of mental disorders that have parts / alters

Yes people can have more than one disorder

yes people can have both schizophrenia and DID

how do you know the difference..... by working with your treatment providers..

if you dont trust others then that means you dont need our answers, in other words....you already know the answers are inside you and you dont need us to give you the answers. you know how to find your answers inside yourself.

my suggestion since you dont trust anyone, continue to look inside your self, rely on yourself for your answers and write about what you are learning about your self.

eventually you will have the answers that you are looking for because they are all inside you already
