Trigger Warning (self harm)*******

Im wondering why so many things are repetitive in my chatter

1) things like go to sleep followed by I will not, I'm tired (like I said before I never feel tired), Are you sleepy? (Someone inside asking someone else)

2) things like I am going to cut your wrist (referring to myself), I dont want to cut my wrist, having a dissociative moment about a self harm scar on my arm.

3) Everybody is Mommy. See my counselor, Mommy I want to hug you. See the owner of the group home, Mommy doesnt love me. Thinking about my old counselor, Mommy I want to snuggle you.

Things like this go through my mind all the time.

let me show you something....

if I posted to you I keep thinking about my mother, why do I keep thinking about my mother?
……………………………..

can you really give me an answer to that? of course not right. you are not in my body so there is no way for you to know why I am thinking about my mother today.

no one here can do that. just like no one can answer why you think the way you do,

the only person that can answer why things are the way they are inside your head is you.

the way to do that is telling your treatment providers that you are thinking this way and then do what they tell you to do.

anything that has to do with you, it is you that tells us whats going on in you. we cant do that for you.

my suggestion is when you see your treatment providers tell them whats going on and do what ever they tell you.
