I have noticed over the past three months or so that I have spoken foreign languages I do not know and mumbled gibberish. I have looked on Google for any info regarding this and just a list of head injuries can cause some of that stuff. I have never had a head injury. It is unsettling when this happens.

I have alters who only cry inside; their experiences were pre-verbal, so they cannot speak. Mumbles, included.

I agree with what the others suggested here.

Hang in there. Maybe speak with your T about these things.

You are all going to be okay.

According to my own research it’s not possible that even younger alters would lose certain functions including speech and dexterity, processing, the ability to read. So this is why they may sound like a child but have excellent diction sentence structure and advanced vocabulary for their age, are capable of reading and getting around on their own. That being said it wouldn’t make sense there are alters who “don’t know how to speak yet”.

However having alters speaking different languages isn’t unheard of and actually happens all the time.
