So I've never been diagnosed with any dissociative disorders.
But since I was younger. I always had a weird experience when stressed, anxious, or in public. It's only gotten worse since I got older. I'm an extremely anxious person by nature. Also, it doesn't help with a certain trauma I experienced in childhood. Which makes me more anxious and on edge all the time. What I experience is almost like an out of body experience. I'm there but not really. I'm just on auto pilot and after that happens I don't really remember much of what happened. Which is annoying the memory problems. I know you all can't diagnose. But I was wondering if this sounds like dissociation? I will be going to a therapist soon. When I can find one. |

you will need to contact your psychiatrist that has diagnosed you with anxiety and depression with psychotic features. I see by some of your posts you have recently had some medication changes and a change in treatment providers and you were in the process of getting a second opinion about your diagnosis. these changes that you are going through can cause what you are going through as can just about every mental and physical health problem there is on google. my suggestion is get in touch with your psychiatrist and let him/ her know what you are going through so that they can help you to feel better soon. |

Maybe a sensory experience brought on by feeling ghastly like a ghost? Are you affected by acute trauma? It could be some form of dissociation too please check with your treatment provider.

What you're described could certainly be a dissociative disorder. I hope you find a therapist soon so you can be diagnosed and begin working on the problem.

I just wanted to leave an update.
I am getting closer to getting a second opinion for some psychological testing. I don't see my psychiatrist until next month. Since he is very booked all the time. I am also in the process of getting a therapist. Hopefully, one that can help me. |
