[1] Hi, I guess. I don’t know much about this site or if anyone’ll be able to help us but I’m one of about 30 people sharing a body (we will use numbers in place of our names). I’m not sure if we would fit the criteria for OSDD1b or not. We keep getting more people and it’s not been a fun time. We don’t know how to stop more people from appearing or who can help with this. We also deal with anxiety, gender dysphoria (most of us are trans) and some stuff from the past. Idk who can help. If anyone knows where we should go around the forum, please let me know, since I don’t know my way around here yet.

Welcome to Psych Central, MiniLitten. Based on what you wrote, it sounds as though the Dissociative Disorders forum may be the right place for you to be. One additional thing you might do is to post an introduction in the New Member Introductions forum. Here's a link:
https://psychcentralforums.com/new-m...introductions/ You may also find the Anxiety, Panic & Phobia's forum to be of interest: https://psychcentralforums.com/anxie...c-and-phobias/ You mentioned gender dysphoria. So should you want to post on that subject the LGBTQ+ forum might be a place to do that: https://psychcentralforums.com/lgbtq-support/ One thing you can always do here on PC, if you are uncertain as to whether or not a particular forum you are thinking about posting in is appropriate for your topic, is to personal message one of the Moderators of that forum to seek their advice. Here's a links to 3 articles, from Psych Central's archives, on the subject of dissociative disorders: Dissociative Identity Disorder Dissociative Identity Disorder Treatment https://psychcentral.com/disorders/d...n-depth/?all=1 I hope you find PC to be of benefit. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." [1] (I would also add this to the end of my last post, but I canÂ’t edit it because it needs to be approved first).
How do we know if we have OSDD-1b? I donÂ’t think our system came from trauma (although we are dealing with a bad memory IÂ’m hesitant to refer to as trauma at the moment, but I think thatÂ’s unrelated), so I donÂ’t know if this is OSDD or something else. |
