Today is the official day that I have not contacted him. I was starting to seriously look unstable and “crazy” and I’m not giving him that satisfaction. He is narcissistic, and I’ve had ex narcs so I know the red flags and symptoms (even though I ignored it) the narc emailed me this morning not to “talk” but I left something at his house of mine, so he emailed me to see if I found it. I didn’t reply to him. I will deal with my stuff later if I really need it I’ll find a way to get it...

Block him from being able to email you. Unless you left diamond heirlooms at each other houses, I’d say you need to let it go. This is divorce and separation (as separating from one’s spouse) forum by the way, you only dated few months. It might be still ok of course, but just wonder why you equate this short lived limited experience with divorcing. Not saying you shouldn’t be upset about break up of course

Good on you for cutting off all contacts with him, Gymgirl71! I completely agree with what the great, wise and wonderful divine1966 has already wisely said better than I ever could! I'd suggest to listen to her as much as you can if you want! She always gives such great advce to EVERYONE like in this case! I completely agree with what she has alreasy wisely said about blocking him and not letting him contact you EVER again! I completely agree that your stuff can wait if it's not anything too important for you and that cutting out contacts with him is the priority right now! That's just my opinion though! The final decision is up to you of course! I do strongly advice you to block him and to NEVER reply to him as much as you can if you can! He certainly has a lot of nerve contacting you again after everything that has happened into his house! From what you wrote he REALLY seems like scum and he definitely doesn't deserve YOU or anyone else of that matter if he doesn't change his behavior VERY soon! Please NEVER give up hope! Try to HANG ON as much as you possibly CAN! You're a STRONG, WONDERFUL PERSONE! PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT because IT IS TRUE! YOU'RE AWESOME, YOU ROCK and YOU KNOW IT! We ALL know that! I'm sure you KNOW THAT as well even if it's deep down inside you! PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMEBER THAT! I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this, Gymgirl71!

You’ll get more replies on Coping with Emotions and Relationship Forums. Breakup issues very much fit there. The only posts I saw on this subforum were about issues that pertain specifically to divorce. Just a suggestion if you want more people to see your posts and maybe offer some advice or just words of support. I am not telling you where to post of course but you aren’t going to get too many replies here.

Hang in there. It will get better. Give it time

I know the no contact is very tough in the beginning. I can assure you, it does get easier. The emotional roller coaster subsides after time. It does take a while. But it does go away. My advice is to ride that baby out. Let yourself feel the emotions. Let yourself feel the void. Get angry, get sad. That's the only way to heal. Don't question your sanity. We have all been there. Much love to you!
