finding out what I weighed, and my BMI
Felt fat and disgusting. How could I let that happen "weak, out of control"....... At last I'm shedding weight and will be post hibernation weight before too long.... __________________ |

No Fuzzy... You're not disgusting
You're a wonderful person and that has nothing to do with your BMI. Please take good care of yourself, ok? __________________ • A bearer of a shattered soul and a mind all ripped and torn • I will rather learn to enjoy misery than partake a life of hypocrisy |

Fuzzy
Remember, all bears store up on their food & energy before going into hibernation so they can survive during their hibernation period. I know after I lost too much I went through a period where my migraines were so bad I couldn't function along with a whole bunch of bad med side effects & I gained back too much. I started off doing great at loosing the weight slowly when I finally was on a good pain med that controlled the migraine. Exercise & good eating really works.....until for me, the trauma hit & the stress hit & wham....the normal weight loss turned into massive loss from the nausea that the stress caused. It's not about being "weak & out of control". Metabolism's change & so do the stressor's......things we have NO CONTROL over. Quote:

I can relate to that feeling very well. Just try not to blame yourself, I think that just makes it feel worse. Blame something else, like winter, or some guy. lol Well, it helps me anyway because then I get mad enough to go for a nice stress relieving jog or walk. |

Hi Fuzzy!
Bears, and a lot of humans, gain weight over the winter. It helps to protect us from the cold, for starters. I'm sorry this has you so freaked out. Please take care of you, you're pretty awesome. __________________ |
