Ran this morning, what else is new?

My daughter is sick. She'd been running some low grade fever off & on since the weekend and not eating as much as usual, but last night her fever got to 102F, and she was very lethargic this morning. Took her to the doctor, and she has both strep & the flu. She can't return to school until she's been fever free 24 hours. The doctor said the best case scenario would be on Wednesday, but more likely Thursday or Friday or even Monday. It's hard when you have a sick child, and you can't really do anything to make them feel better.

I got another great book for $2 at the used bookstore. One that I've wanted to buy for awhile, it was awesome to randomly find it there! "Bulimia: A Guide to Recovery" by Lindsey Hall and Leigh Cohn (25th Anniversary Edition)

I'm doing better today. I went to my meditation class in the afternoon and it made me feel more relaxed. I'm happy about how I ate today (balanced meals in the right quantities).
I hope everyone is doing well

I'm feeling very disgusted with my body. I keep trying to tell myself positive affirmations but I can't get past the fact of the weight I've gained the past 3 or 4 months. I feel huge, I'm constantly aware of my body. I know realistically that weight doesn't define me but I can't help feeling....disgusting.

I'm sorry for the negativity, I just needed to express how I'm feeling. I want to get better. I ate dinner earlier even though I didn't really want to, I wanted to skip. I made a mistake though and ate really spicy food and drank black coffee all day. Not a good combination with the silent GERD I developed. I never had a problem with spicy food or drinking tons of coffee before but since the GERD started it feels bad, like acid burning in my stomach.

I start physical therapy today. Hope to get pain free soon.

So glad the scale is in the garage. That sounded like a good idea to run it over with the car! LOL Most of the time recently it made me unhappy to weigh myself and then doing it every day ruined part of my day. I don't want the scale to tell me what kind of a day to have. I'll get weighed at the doctor next week. That is if I let them weigh me. I have refused before.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

I hope the physical therapy helps you Lucy

I need to do something similar with my scale, it's currently sitting in the kitchen. I haven't used it much lately but it's a constant reminder...

I ate dinner tonight. I was getting very irritable and realized it was probably related to not eating much during the day.

Planning on doing stress relief yoga later

Went to physical therapy. After getting home I felt more pain in my arm so I put the heating pad on it and that helped.

Trying to deal with a lot of anger I have. Probably related to my crap life as it is. I guess I do have things to be grateful for, though.

I used to keep the scale in the kitchen too Blue bird.

Have to try and make my portions I eat a bit smaller. Been topping them off recently. Not good for my weight or the diabetes.

Having some nicer weather the past day and tomorrow, too. The middle of the weekend will get arctic again..great joy.

Just watching murder mysteries on ID Channel again.

I brought my Bulimia recovery book with me to my college today. It's nice having a physical reminder of recovery and to stay on top of it.

I'm a little stressed because I've been distracted and getting behind on school work but I'm going to do my best to get caught up.

Should have brought a water bottle. I'll be here 6 and a half hours today. I'm going to be really thirsty but I'll just use the water fountains I guess.

I'm working hard at staying positive

The weather is crazy here as well. It was in the negatives then like a day later it was in the 50's. It's all over the place

I had to go to the ER twice within 8 days for flu like symptoms and they finally tested me for Valley Fever, I hope I get my results back soon. My caffeine addiction is getting out of control and I'd effecting my weight loss, electrolyte levels, and my life in general. I'm severely stressed at this point and I feel like I'm letting myself go with my new job, not to mention they pay me way ****ing less for only getting paid twice a month. I made 327 for two weeks, yeah, work sucks, and so does living at the poverty level with health issues getting in the way of everything.

Went to the gym today for the first time in a long time. Renewed my membership and worked out for awhile. It felt really good

I'm struggling with wanting to restrict lately but I've been forcing myself to eat. I panicked last night and almost cried at dinner. I've never done that before. It's just stressful trying to go all the way with recovery. I'm scared of losing control

I hope you'll be feeling better. I can relate to the stressedness. I'm thinking of starting to try and meditate. Been watching nature shows on Prime. They are relaxing. It is hard living at or below the poverty, level, yes, I have been for a long time, too. I hope you are getting help with your health issues.

Sorry it's so difficult for you right now. Control, yes, that is a big issue of mine, too. Sometimes I do lose control but then try to get back on track. Are you doing anything for stress relief?

Thanks I do stress relief yoga sometimes, draw, and journal. Tonight I watched a funny movie which was very helpful

How have things been for you?
