I'm in my 30s. I should be far past having issues with eating. I lost significant weight in my 20s with frequent working out, running and occasionally purging. I binged, but on lentils and carrots. Then I was happy for several years until I had a baby. I gained significant weight again and now several years later I'm an overweight binge eater I started therapy and got my binging under control. But now I'm eating 1000-1400 calories a day and my therapist is concerned I'm being too restrictive. I can't find a happy medium 😭

Sorry you are having a tough time and hope you can find a happy medium. Hope you can work with counselor and maybe dietitian who can help.

Is your health okay? Bloodwork good? Weight healthy and stable? Maybe this amount is pretty close to normal for you. 😁 Just check in with your dr.
If you find you have ruminating thoughts about food, investigate the best ways to traverse with your mental health practitioner. All the best! |
