I would like to try keto. I do not have much weight to lose because I had gastric bypass but I need to avoid most carbs and sweets and would like to try. Problem is when I google it the plans are all complicated and involved and not something I could easily afford or modify to feed my family. Can anyone share their simple budget friendly keto plan?

I tried doing Keto and I was as sick as a dog for 2 weeks straight. I felt awful physically. Not to mention my anxiety was through the roof. I lost about 6 pounds real fast but then plateaued for about a month straight. Once I got off it and went back to just eating a low calorie diet I immediately felt better and started losing weight again. I was eating a lot of bacon and and eggs and nuts and seeds and chicken and steak while I was on it.

I went on a strict Keto diet that helped me lose 20 lbs! It was hard! But it did pay off... I stuck to veggies, mostly greens cauliflower broccoli, I rediscovered V8 juice! I tried hard to stay away from bread and sugars... I did eggs, bacon, chicken, pork, even imitation crab...
The whole thing was great, until I slowly reverted to my old ways, however, because of all the weight I lost, my stomach shrank and my food portions are now not as heavy as they once were...
I am still determined to stick to keto as much as I can, but I do not think I am in ketosis anymore...
Exercise is important also in maintaining, even just walking, brisk walking, or, if you can, jogging...

Good luck with it.

Oh yeah, fast food without the buns or taco shells work well and reasonably priced meals
