I lost 8 pounds since my surgery. Iím not sure how much was as a result of the surgery itself and how much was from recovery and not being hungry and how much was from not taking the visteril. Still 8 pounds is pretty good. Iím also scared to drink coffee because of my high heart rate scare in the hospital so I havenít been drinking a large iced coffee everyday like I had been or a large Mountain Dew either.

760 calories so far today. 240 from a soda. 360 from a grilled cheese sandwich. 120 from deli turkey. And 40 calories from 2 chocolate potato chips. Iím super tired and in bed right now. So I donít know when or if Iíll get up. Still not sure exactly whatís going. If itís physical, a med reaction, changes in food habit, or a possible emotional issue going on regarding food. or could be a combination of all them. I think Iím at about a 10 pound weight loss.

I would think you would still be recuperating from surgery. A small kitchen accident will take a week to heal on me. Of course im old and diabetic, but still!

Yup at a 10 pound weight loss. About 1,170 calories today. Iím doing something that I think my therapist would not be happy about but whatever. Iíd like to lose 36 more.

I gained but stayed stable,stopped gaining.I must now work out a daily diet where I lose weight consistently.I hope so!Wish me luck!

I had a couple cups of cranberry juice this morning. Then a Dr. Pepper. I got a bowl from chipotles which had 855 calories. I ate 2/3 of it. Iíll probably just save the rest for tomorrow. So right now Iím at about 930 calories. I havenít eaten much at all in over 24 hours. But Iíve had a ton of water.

Friday, October 16th , 2020

When fall and winter arrive I get a bit nervous about my depression returning. Iíve been doing really well the last two years. I have not been on any depression medication or any antipsychotic since the fall of 2018. I created my own coping tool box which I also have to stay up on my autoimmune diseases and rare diseases. I have Hashimoto/Thyroidism/Graves Disease which definitely does impact your mood and emotions.

I had a great conversation with my teenager today. My teenager also has Hashimoto and other autoimmune diseases and rare diseases as well. We both acknowledged that changing our foods, eating certain foods in moderation and regularly being active has made a big difference in our moods. Our mood is not such a roller coaster.

The last few days I can feel how my body is starting to become symptomatic. Weather changes are a big challenge for me. My fibromyalgia pain and fatigue is not shy. Yesterday and today the nausea has been terrible. I drink a lot of caffeine free loose herbal teas. Iíve been very diligent about taking my vitamins and supplements. We recently moved and today a contractor installed grab bars in my restroom.

I walk our dog frequently. Being out in nature helps keep my depression away. My legs have been in a lot of pain so I donít walk too long. I really miss going hiking and look forward to resuming. I sometimes get overwhelmed juggling multiple chronic illnesses and having to stay on healthcare specialists to provide continuity of care.

I had a couple Kinder Card bars (European wafer cookie things with cocoa cream on the inside) at midnight. Then I got a couple hot dogs from Sonic at 8:30. I ate one. I didnít eat the other because they tasted old. I had a 16oz can of Coke. Then I tried eating some turkey lunch meat. I just grazed at it maybe eating 4 slices and when I came back to it 2 of the cats had gotten into it and had devoured the entire package. Then I tried eating a couple mini stuffed bagel bites from Dunkin Donuts. I ate one of them. I got a blueberry iced tea which I think had sugar in it even though I ordered it unsweetened. Dinner is going to be a square slice of cheese pizza

I have down 1,162 calories but Iím probably off.

I've gained some weight recently. I'm trying to eat better. In the middle of the night, I usually snack. I bought some snack packs to have when I'm raiding the kitchen. Less harmful that way. They come with cheese, nuts and apples. It's satisfying and low calorie.
