Does anyone else speak to themselves in third person? Like we need to get some water etc.

I don’t quite do that but over the last yr i started referring to myself as my name... instead of saying “ i really should get dinner” i say “ The Chey should really get dinner”.... I’m not really sure why I started doing it but I’m glad I’m not the only one

Sometimes I think to myself.."We are not amused."

I've got a bit of a duality thing going on.
Both my dark side and my light side are always fighting for dominance. My dark side just wants to run wild and consume. My light side is fighting to regain some of my humanity. Meanwhile, I am trying to figure out if I want to side with my dark side, light side, or just say **** it and do whatever I want. So yeah I sometimes refer to myself as "we" because there are many variables to my personality. I compare my present life the most to "The Dark Half" by Aesthetic Perfection. |

I have never done it, Dnester, but I think it can happen to some people from time to time. Does this happen often to you? Either way, I wouldn't be too worried about it, especially if it's not causing any problems to you. I think it's quite normal to a certain extent. Sending many hugs to you

I do it occasionally but I'm aware of doing it. Fisrt I heard it from my mum when she reffered to herself and said something like "Mum's going to have coffee" or something like that. Since then I sometimes say things like "Seeker's going to sleep now". It's a kind of our weird family slang

I have been told I tend to do that, it annoys people apparently. Even though I can not always see why.

I talk to myself a lot! I know it sometimes bothers other people I’ve just gotten so used to being alone I think, that I don’t think about how it might be perceived.
