I recently thought about working again to help with money, I am on iss for bi-plor disorder and major depression, I also have IBS real bad and chonic back pains, my love ones tell me they don't think I could successfully work. It was a hurting thing to hear, but are they right?

Well... I don't know about this. By "iss" did you mean Social Security Disability (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)? I know there are provisions, under Social Security Disability where one can try out working without losing one's benefits. I don't know a lot about this though. There are other members here on PC, I'm sure, who know more about this. Hopefully some of them will yet see your post & reply.
You do want to be careful though I would presume. With the number of things you have going on, trying to work may be difficult. And then, also, if you have Medicare or Medicaid health coverage, that's an important benefit you'd want to protect too. So while I wouldn't want to suggest that, no... you can't work, I do think it is something you would want to approach with caution. At least those are my thoughts with regard to your post. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go."
