Hey ppl, It's been more than a month and I have been dealing with some (I guess a single) intrusive (unwanted) thought(s). This thoight is a little embarrasing [Actually, many months ago, my father was giving me flying kiss without arms (I guess maybe it means to fondle) at that time I had a wrong thought that he was doing it with a wrong intension, but later after I discussed it with him and many other ppl, I realised I was wrong]. These unwanted thoughts troubled me a lot that I had to go to a homoeopathic doctor, I told him all this and I said that these thoughts increase when I get less sleep, feel hungry or do not pee/poo. He told me that enoigh energy is not used thats why something is converting into unwanted thoughts. He gave me some homoeopathic medicines and brenup syrup, he also told me to do gymming. This thing is troubling me a lot while studying, I have to eliminate/control those thoughts again and again while studying. Doc also told me it will take 45 days to get response. I don't think his medicines are working too well, its been 2 weeks since I visited him. I discussed it with my cousin and he told me that thoguhts increase when... is just my false belief. And these thoughts are coming to me bcoz of fear/anxiety. I wanted to ask u guys, that how can I get cured of this (eliminate those thoughts) bcoz it's been troubling me a lot. And what doc said about "less physical activity" (energy) thing, is it correct or not?

For any of you wondering if I have OCD, I GUESS I don't (maybe).

I wrote this to a person lately with similliar case. Maybe it will help.

"I dont see a need to worry. Because logically u know, u dont have a reason to do smth like that and it will have consequences. I know it might be a little disturbing, but having some thoughts or ideations doesnt mean you will act out on it.

And I see you dont want to have these thoughts/ideations, so it doesnt sound as a person who's gonna do smth, that doesnt want to.

Dont try to fight these thoughts, because it can intensify them. Just let them flow thru you with knowing that they are illogical and you dont have a need to smth like that. With time they might disappear"

I COMPLETELY agree with the WISE and WONDERFUL MrGuermo! Do you think a therapist may help in your case, @Coolboy97? I feel like that could REALLY help you. If your Doctor isn't helping you out, is it possible for you to go to another one and get a second opinion? I'd suggest a Pdoc especially. It does seem like you may have some symptoms of OCD so perhaps seeign a Pdoc and getting a diagnosis may help. If you don't have anything, good for you! But it's best to know in advance to make sure that's the case and if there's something that must be done. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes and keep us posted if you wish to do so. Thanks mickycheeky, I was wondering that earlier (some 2 months ago) (btw... I have this brp9blem of intru.. from 1 and a half month), I used to learn things in a single time and that used to put some load on my brain. After a month I was not able to get enough sleep (due to waking up early for some reason), I THINK that bcoz of less sleep and load in brain this thing has happened to me. But it could be false. Can anyone tell me how can I get cured of this?
