I'm experiencing something I've had pretty much all my life, but recently it's become worse. A lot worse, and I don't know what it is. I have little to no interest in anything. Things done are either my way because I think it's correct, or I put my word in EVERY TIME. Confusion, Cluelessness, Can't tell right from left, having trouble remember things, severe anxiety, trouble understanding the simplest of things, I don't make eye contact with anyone, speech problems, I repeat myself a lot, trouble sleeping, not wanting to engage in social activity, I prefer to be alone, I try to reject as much physical contact as I possibly can, I'm very sensitive to light, touch, and sound, I'm impulsive, and I have an aggressive behavior sometimes--I don't even notice it until after the fact. My mind also gets distracted easily, but my focus stays on what I'm focusing on at that moment.

Hello Polarity: I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to Psych Central.

Thank you for sharing your concern. We here on PC cannot offer mental health diagnoses. Plus I'm not a mental health professional. So I can't suggest anything with regard to what may be going on with you. For this you would need to see a mental health professional. (It may also be worthwhile to have yourself checked out medically just to make sure there's nothing going on that way.) Based on what you wrote, though, it does sound as though anxiety may be at least part of what you're struggling with. So here's a link to the anxiety forum, here on PC, just in case you haven't already found it:

The Depression forum may also be one to check out:

And then here are links to 5 articles, from Psych Central's archives, on the subject of anxiety plus links to 2 on depression:

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.
