I need to turn my life around. It is awful in all ways. I hate where I live, I hate my job, I have no friends left and no significant other. I suffer from extreme loneliness and depression due to this. I have never lived my life the way I wanted to.
I feel as if I am in prison and can't get out. My friends at this point are married men that I have met online. I try to better myself but am just so tired and getting older. I have two older teen kids that have their own lives now and don't listen to me or respect me really. I am going back into debt and really need to move out of this prison that I live with my parents who also treat me like crap. |

I am sorry you are struggling with all this stuff, DanceEngine. You have a lot going on. Having been cheated on repeatedly over the years, I would just suggest that putting a lot of energy into married men could sort of be the road to nowhere. Just my take.
I am also basically completely alone. No family to speak of. Almost no friends. But I do what I can to try to keep my chin up. PC helps me a lot. There is a lot of support here. Is it possible to look for a more satisfying job? What about working toward getting a place of your own? Maybe setting some goals and beginning to try to work toward those? Do you have a therapist or pdoc? Maybe a med change is in order. Sending you strength and support. You can get through this. But you are probably going to have to take some action to get there. I hope you feel better soon. __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

Set one goal at a time. Like decide to get a better job and focus on it. Then focus on the next thing. Don’t try to fix it all at once

I’m what ways can you make improvements? Can you move in with roommates and get out of your parents’ home?

It's not going to happen over night. I notice when you have a mental health issue it's near impossible to get anything done. I tried for five months to get my doctor to send a letter saying I am disabled to get free transportation finally I give up on it because she said she doesn't feel comfortable saying I am disabled even though I showed her proof I am on disability income from socially security. I decided to give myself a year to get things done in the future.
