Time alone does not but working on things over time can.

Time definitely does not heal all wounds, in my view, but, as mentioned above, we can learn to live with our losses and challenges.

Heals...no. Softens the sharp edges and the pain of the wound less permeating...yes. The wounds can help us learn to rely on our own strength.

I like how emotional wounds are compared to physical ones. I completely agree they are similar. Even a lost limb can get a prosthetic replacement and the technology for those are advancing incredibly. (Shout out to my son who works in this field ) If new things happen that are good, the pain of the wounds tend to lesson.

I agree. I don't think time really heals all wounds. And time doesn't necessarily erase memories either. I remember the things people did, even if they have managed to convince themselves that they didn't really do those things or even if they think they have managed to put enough new personas between their vicious old self and their latest pseudo self. So in that respect wounds can open people up to reality.

I don't know... I tend to differ on that. I think given enough time, all wounds can heal. Especially if one works at it. It does take effort and wanting to heal from past wounds, in my opinion.
