How do internal clocks work? I find I have incredible sub conscious timing, things that make me question if the inner workings of the world were of creation or if some higher being ruled all and created all, I currently don't believe we are in the matrix and I am an Atheist.

How could we ever know? Interesting philosophical question. I would say there could be so many indicators of time. Vision (daylight, the remembered movement of the hands of a clock), sound (tick tock, heartbeat), empathy (someone you're in tune with has the time)...and however many other things add up to intuition.
I think if you're wondering about a higher power the possible you're agnostic? I love science, but think it has a long way to go to explaining the connectedness of everything, and someone once said "if our brains were simple enough to understand, we'd be too simple to understand them", which I think is a strong argument

I was not expecting such a good response, and I am sorry for the confusion, I get thoughts that will derail my current train of thinking and I have to stop these thoughts from progressing, I try to not have any spiritual beliefs because it will cause confusion. I am an atheist but when these things happen it makes me think I should change my course of thought but overall I do not believe in any higher power. And yes I think the body mind and soul is capable of amazing things science has yet to start researching.

No need to apologise, I needed some conversation today, and have fully enjoyed engaging in your threads. Yes, you have a lot of thoughts and some amount of inner conflict and confusion, but express yourself well, I think.

I think everyone has their own perception of time, most people will be pretty similar though. I know different animals perceive time differently. I just wish time would slow down for a bit during the day so I could get all my jobs done at work!!

I agree with you, time goes by so fast during the day. Except for when I have nothing to do, then for the life of me I can't speed up time.

Sometimes we are in a matrix of someone elses clock or time. Like our parents for example when we were little. Im sure there is a divine clock which rules over all. Very interesting subject, i like your post.

Hi, yes, love to learn, and love hearing different people's views and concepts too. Time is such a fascinating subject, because it is an abstract concept, but there is so much objective evidence of the forward progression of time...

Simultaneity - Albert Einstein and the Theory of Relativity - YouTube

...and evidence for the subjectivity of where events occur in time.
